After years in mainstream medicine, Dr. Regan Tilley has opened the clinic she knew she was destined for. A medical home, where clients could come and feel welcome and free to be themselves. This is not a sterile, frightening experience. The focus is on you as a WHOLE person, not a diagnosis, not a number.  Most  traditional family practice docs routinely see over 2000 patients! We have fewer patients so we can provide top-of-the-line care to each and every patient. Our patient panel size is desirably between 300-400. 

Using a direct primary care approach allows your doctor to treat you without the hindrances of insurance. It is closer to way things used to be. Dr. Regan does not have to cater to the computer, the accountants or administration wanting to meet quotas. No "hand on the door" care here. Instead, she passes on savings for members for labs, prescriptions, specialists, and imaging. She would rather herd cats than go back to insurance based practice. 

You won't have to pay a co-pay for office visits or routine physicals. Also you'll be able to avoid many visits overall by sending your questions directly (no gate keepers) –-- something you won't get from a traditional practice. We are able to do a lot of labs, specialty testing, supplements and in-house prescriptions at a lower price. If we had contracts with insurance companies, we would be legally obligated to charge their higher prices.

More importantly, since you are getting all this amazing care from us, you can cut  back significantly on your insurance premiums. Most DPC patients find a high-deductible, low-premium insurance plan so they're covered in the case of a major health issue. But for all the rest, we've got you covered!

The fee covers excellent primary care through office visits with no copay. This includes the following: annual wellness exams, sports physicals, school physicals, chronic care office visits, follow-up visits, basic office procedures and treatment of acute illness or minor injuries, all with minimal wait times in the office. The fee also covers direct communications with your provider: phone, text, video chat or email.

Skin Lesion Excision/biopsy (except face, this will be referred to dermatology)

Members pay a flat fee of $40 for any of the following procedures:

PAP test cytology (if further culture or testing performed you are responsible for the fee)

We do not bill insurance here at WHOLEhealth MHK. There is no force on earth that will persuade Dr. Regan Tilley to work with insurance again. She would rather be a sheep farmer. You can use most FSA accounts and any HSA account to pay for the membership fees.

We recommend having the appropriate policy for your family and health needs. If you do not have insurance you are welcome here. If you have insurance, you are welcome here. This insurance will be used for those needs that are not provided at WHOLEhealth MHK, such as surgery, specialists, labs and imaging, among other things you are already using insurance for. We just do not bill it. 

Once you are enrolled you will receive a private phone number to contact Dr. Regan as well as an invitation to our Practice Better app. Here you will be able to message the provider DIRECTLY, have DIRECT access after hours via phone.  After hours please call for urgent questions, but when in doubt call 911 or go to the Emergency room for an emergency. Urgent calls might mean a fever, a sick baby you have questions about, or an injury where you are seeking guidance for managing it. An emergency is head trauma, chest pain, stroke like symptoms, burns. Neither of those lists is all inclusive or limiting. Please always use your best judgement. 

We believe every child deserves to be cared for by a physician. Our stance on vaccines is that they serve a purpose to prevent illnesses in the population. There are situations where the child cannot be vaccinated, or the parents choose a different schedule for vaccines. We are willing to lovingly care for your child no matter their vaccination status. We believe in personal medical autonomy.

Dr. Regan provides well woman exams with labs, pap smear, order for mammography, thermography and pelvic exams. We do not provide maternity care, but are happy to offer non-maternity services for you to support a healthy pregnancy (preconception to delivery), newborn care and breastfeeding support. If your pap comes back abnormal, I refer to a specialist for further evaluation and treatment.
